January - June 2021: Sopori Ranch Storytelling Project
Worked with the Arizona Land and Water Trust to uncover and summarize the many stories of the historic Sopori Ranch, which includes critical riparian habitat that supports endangered species like jaguar, ocelot and the yellow-billed cuckoo. Research resulted in a communications plan and media strategy that will engage and spark conversations between community members, ranchers, students, researchers and stakeholders.
As part of the UC3 program, I also attended weekly leadership trainings and workshops related to topics like project management, stakeholder engagement and science communications.
